What we collect

Creating an account collects: your email address, a password (stored as a salted hash — we never see or store your actual password), and optionally a preferred name for AIpril to call you. If you opt in, we also record that preference for occasional email updates.

Using the site as a signed-in visitor may also generate:

• AIpril's memory of you — a short AI-written summary of what you've told her (who you are, what you're building), tied to your account and updated as you talk. This is what lets her recognize you across devices, not just on one browser.
• Project briefs — if you use AIpril to develop a project idea and choose to send it to us, we store the conversation summary, the mockup she generated, and any reference image you attached.

Visiting the site at all (signed in or not) also collects a small amount of anonymous aggregate analytics — page views, which sections get viewed, which chat topics come up — with no per-visitor identity or raw logs attached. We can't tell which specific visitor did what from this data.

What we never collect

We don't ask for payment information, government IDs, or anything beyond what's listed above. If you never create an account, we don't know who you are at all — the local "remembers your last chat" feature for anonymous visitors lives entirely in your own browser's storage and is never sent to us.

How AIpril's memory actually works

There are genuinely two separate, independent memory systems on this site, and we want to be exact about which is which:

• Local browser memory (anyone, no account needed): your last conversation is saved in your browser's local storage only. It never reaches our servers, doesn't follow you to another device, and clearing your browser data erases it.
• Account memory (signed-in visitors only): a short AI-generated summary stored on our server, tied to your account, that follows you across any device you log in on. This is the one that lets AIpril recognize you and your preferred name wherever you sign in.

Where your data goes (third parties)

We use a small number of infrastructure providers to run the site. None of them can identify you beyond what's necessary to do their specific job:

• Google (Gemini API) — processes your chat messages (and, if you attach one, a reference image) to generate AIpril's replies and mockups. Not used to train Google's models per their API terms for this usage tier.
• fal.ai / ElevenLabs — converts AIpril's text replies into spoken audio.
• Resend — sends account emails (verification, password reset, project brief notifications). Only your email address and the email content pass through them.
• Neon — hosts our database (your account row, memory summary, project briefs). Standard cloud database infrastructure, not a party that uses your data for anything beyond storage.
• Netlify — hosts the site itself and its serverless functions.
• Sentry — error monitoring for our backend functions, so we can catch and fix bugs. Captures technical error details (e.g. what failed and why), not your chat content.

Cookies

We set exactly one cookie: a session cookie that keeps you signed in, valid for 30 days, marked HttpOnly and Secure so it can't be read by page scripts or sent over an insecure connection. No third-party tracking or advertising cookies.

Your control over your data

• Delete your account anytime from your account panel — this permanently removes your account row and every project brief tied to it. This can't be undone.
• Change or clear your preferred name anytime from the same panel.
• Unsubscribe from emails by turning off the newsletter preference in your account, or by asking us directly.
• Ask us anything about your data — email fridainexus@gmail.com and we'll respond directly, not through a form.

Terms of Service

By creating an account you agree to:

• Provide a real email address you control (accounts exist to give you a genuine, recognizable relationship with AIpril — not to be spammed up in bulk).
• Use AIpril and the project-brief feature for their intended purpose — describing real projects you want built, not generating or sending abusive, illegal, or unrelated content.
• Keep your password confidential; you're responsible for activity under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts used for abuse, spam signups, or attempts to misuse AIpril outside her intended scope. This site and its guide, AIpril, are provided as-is, without warranty — this is a studio portfolio and lead-generation tool, not a paid product with a service-level agreement.

Changes to this policy

If what we collect or how we use it changes meaningfully, we'll update this page and its date at the top. Continued use of your account after a change means you've accepted the update.
